Bonjour! It's pretty odd to be blogging on a weekday since I always do it on Sunday nights, but I spent last night watching the Star Awards. Rare Singaporean moment alert!! I only watched it for Dai Yang Tian but he didn't even get into the top 10 in the end. Completely wasted my time and I was quite sad tbh lol. However I must say his opening suit was hideous, thank God he changed into a nice one which made him look like a God or something.
Last week was a pretty good one in contrast to the previous week. Things just gradually got better as each day went by, which was pretty good. I can't quite remember what actually took place last week thought, except that I had a four day school week instead of the usual five days and Ivie and I were so excited on Thursday. Oh now I remember!
I have to say that Thursday (there's a band by the name of Thursday too which I happen to love) was especially amazing! The day started off with me feeling pretty dandy because it was the last day of the week and then I found out that I was able to skip CIP on Saturday and attend a church event instead, which was tres lovely! Then Mr Koh was absent which meant that we had a free period. Tuition in the afternoon was a bummer though. My tutor was being real mean and tres weird (he kept harping on the fact that I used the word 'lackey' and also he couldn't stop talking about the fake birds that was on a potted plant near us, he even rearranged them so that they were kissing) But nonetheless, nothing could stop be from having a happy day, praise the Lord!
Met Kia Nicole Noakes for dinner at Ikea on Good Friday. We had planned to study but we just ended up talking about shit and having little giggles here and there, it was tres fantastic (hence I have happy pictures, namely the second and third one). Oh, she also taught me this word 'tres'. It means very in French apparently. I also got some sweet new kicks at Queensway. Finally, I have a decent pair of sneakers for whenever I need them.
I had actually wanted the 106 Vulcanizers in maroon but no, Singapore's range of stuff are always the shittiest and the most common. Settled on the blue ones in the end because Matt Nicholls happens to own a pair too (fangirl~) |-)
Also, because of the long weekend, I painted my nails (refer to the fourth picture). Absolute favourite colour in the universe. It's OPI's Tickle My France-y. Love for OPI, I actually have a list of colours I want to get! Though my birthday is roughly 3 months away, I'm already making a mental note of my birthday wish list, OPI nail polishes are more than welcomed! Also (refer to fifth picture), I loved my hair on Sunday it was tres perfect, just ignore my stupid face.
Crossroads, my church event, was on Saturday! I'm still feeling pretty bummed that I hadn't brought anyone but I believe that by faith, God will lead me to someone. The food race was pretty ok, but I guess it wouldn't be way more fun if I had done it with some other group of enthusiastic psychotic friends but nonetheless, I thank God for the bonding time we had! I was partly distracted that day and I'm feeling really bad for it. I need to learn to put God first in everything and above all. Butttttttttttttt, I managed to find who I had intended to find and yeah I'm kinda going all blushy right now so I shall stop.
Spent Easter Sunday at home mugging. Oh yeah, I had lunch at Paradise Pavilion located at the Marina Bay Link. The food was average, I guess. Gutted that Red Mango wasn't opened though. This year's Easter and Good Friday was pretty mundane I guess.
I've been listening to too much rap and dubstep recently. It's kinda like my not so guilty pleasure.
