Blue Valentine

I spent last night watching Blue Valentine (when I should be studying, I know, whoop dee doo) and I just cried bucket loads. The movie is just so heartbreaking yet it's just so beautiful at times. Ryan Gosling is also an absolute babe, but I dare say this time that the story line got me way more than the actor did.

The movie just documents the build-up and the breakdown of the two main characters relationship/marriage, switching between the past and the present. The conflicting contrasts is just gut-wrenching. It's sad how two people, who were so in love at the beginning, could just fall out of love in the end.
