I spent the most part of the day just hanging out with my dad and talking about life. This is going to be a really wordy post because I have no pictures with the exception of Ryan Gosling shirtless, but I'll come to that later. So, we had lunch at Hubert's @ Dempsey. I love Dempsey, it's such a nice place to just chill out and be away from society. The food was average but really well worth the money though. Then we caught the 2pm show for Crazy, Stupid, Love at Lido Shaw. This is the first time I've been there since the revamp and I like how the whole place looks so spacious and clean now. But, I really do miss the old theatre and it's plushy seats and just the whole feel of it.
Just. Look. At. Ryan. Gosling's. Abs. LOOK. AT. IT. JUST. LOOK. I think I may be in love (Ivie, if you're reading this, I KNOW YOU LIKE RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT ). It doesn't help that his character is such a stud muffin and now I can't stop watching his interviews on Youtube and he's just so good-looking and really cute. I'm never a big fan of muscular guys but RYAN GOSLING IS JUST IRRESISTIBLE. I cannot stop raving about how attractive he is right now. I LOVE YOU RYAN GOSLING MARRY ME. Ok, creepy. That aside, the story line was a bit boring in the first 20 minutes then it got a little less boring but still boring until the whole story took an unexpected twist. Like wow, I really didn't see that coming and I was just in pure shock when it happened. I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it but I strongly encourage you to go see it purely for the twist to the story (and of course, Ryan Gosling). But seriously, I LOVE YOU RYAN GOSLING SEE THIS I LOVE YOU MARRY ME.
I wanted to drop by H&M after the movie but seeing the queue just made me want to punch people there and then so we decided to go somewhere for a drink instead. We decided on Harry's @ Holland but later changed to this new place called Othello's @ Greenwood. It's a pretty chill place and the waiters were so nice I friendly. I got a Shirley Temple (weak, I know) and dad got a Gin & Tonic which was pretty nice actually, I like. We just sat and talked and it was so nice. Then we went to pic my mom up.
I think today really helped me a lot in my mental and emotional state. I feel like I'm in a much better place now than I was two nights ago. I managed to finish a Principal of Accounts paper when I got back which gave me a real confidence boost.
