"I'm on the pursuit of awesomeness: excellence is the bare minimum."
Legend. 'Nuff said.
I got off work early today, at about 1.30 PM because they were sincerely over staffed and I felt like I was about to collapse any time soon. Waking up at 5.45 AM every morning and working 10 hour shifts are really not my forte at all. I mean, it's actually great fun working in the F&B industry. You get to meet great people most of the time and you're surrounded by lovely food (eg. bread and desserts) everyday. What more could I ask for? But it's really tough work. When I go to a restaurant/cafe nowadays, I empathize so much with the staff there. But the long (and early) hours have really brought me to a certain breaking point already. Thank God I got home early today. I just slept my whole afternoon away. It felt unbelievably great.
On a more exciting note, Dean Brettschneider (there's always Google to help you), the main owner of Baker & Cook is in town tomorrow and for the next few days I believe. This kinda makes me want to shit myself. He does look a little intimidating. To add on, there's this new girl who's incredibly ridiculously dumb of some sorts. I know I'm being really mean and hard on her by saying this, as she's new and everything and it takes time to get used to working there, but really, I want to go on a massacre. She's getting in my way and it's absolutely pissing me off. I guess you could say I have no patience whatsoever. I'm slightly thrilled though. His son looks pretty good as well. Just putting it out there.
I will sign off here, ta.
